Essential Oil Cautions

Never take essential oils internally and do not use them directly on the skin, blend them first.

With diluted oil try a test spot on your skin first, if you are not sure of your sensitivity to essential oils.

Always check specific safety data before using a new oil.

Do not use essential oils in or too close to your eyes.

Some essential oils should be avoided if you have a diagnosed medical condition, should not be used on children, or during pregnancy.

Do not use essential oils to treat a serious medical or psychological illness.

Store essential oils in a dark glass, porcelain or clay bottle, away from heat and light, avoid using plastic containers - they may cause a chemical reaction.

Essential oils evaporate in the air, so keep the lid on tight.

Keep essential oils out of the reach of children and pets.

Essential oils are flammable, do not keep near open flames.
