Apricot Kernel Oil

Carrier oils are also known as, Base oils or Vegetable oils. Base oils are vegetable, nut or seed oils, many of which in themselves have great therapeutic qualities.
Essential oils in their pure state are to concentrated to be used directly on the skin and you will therefore need to dilute them with a carrier oil, to "carry" the essential oil over your skin. Vegetable, Nut & Seed oils can also be incorporated into bodycare products and soaps.

Apricot Kernel Oil is cold expeller-pressed from the seed of the Apricot fruit and then refined. It spreads easily, absorbs fast and is a great ingredient for body care and soap. It has a great slip and glide, making it a excellent ingredient for massage and skin care products. It is similar to Sweet Almond Oil, yet very light and easily absorbed by the skin. It is a very popular body oil, since it does not leave an oil film on the skin.
Apricot Kernel Oil can be used at 100% concentration or blended with other oils.
