Carrier Oils
Carrier oils are also known as, Base oils or Vegetable oils. Base oils are vegetable, nut or seed oils, many of which in themselves have great therapeutic qualities.
Essential oils in their pure state are to concentrated to be used directly on the skin and you will therefore need to dilute them with a carrier oil, to "carry" the essential oil over your skin. Vegetable, Nut & Seed oils can also be incorporated into bodycare products and soaps.
Avocado Oil
Persea americana
Gained from the dehydrated flesh of the Avocado fruit, this pale green oil is refined and luxuriously smooth and rich.
This oil should be used in a 10% dilution with another oil.
