Carrier Oils
Carrier oils are also known as, Base oils or Vegetable oils. Base oils are vegetable, nut or seed oils, many of which in themselves have great therapeutic qualities.
Essential oils in their pure state are to concentrated to be used directly on the skin and you will therefore need to dilute them with a carrier oil, to "carry" the essential oil over your skin. Vegetable, Nut & Seed oils can also be incorporated into bodycare products and soaps.
Macadamia Oil
Macadamia intergrifolia
This silky oil is a traditional Hawaiian oil that is extracted from the Macadamia Nut, which originated from Australia. This very light and pleasant oil is great as a base for facial, body and hair care products.
Macadamia Oil can be used at 100% or may be blended with other oils.
