· LAVENDER
BODY POWDER ·
|
|
1 Part Cornstarch, 1 Part Baking Soda, 1/2 Part
Lavender Flowers, Few drops Lavender Essential Oil.
Grind Lavender Flowers into powder, mix all
dry ingredients well, add essential oil.

· BODY
SPRAY ·
|
|
Mix 10 drops essential oil and 8 ounces
distilled water in a spray bottle.
Try this recipe with
one or a combination of bergamot, chamomile, geranium, lavender, lemon, mandarin,
neroli, patchouli, peppermint, rosemary, rosewood, sage, sandalwood,
sweet orange, ylang-ylang.

· ROSEMARY
HAIR OIL ·
|
|
Mix
30 drops essential oil and 1 ounces jojoba oil.
Massage 1 teaspoon into scalp. Cover the hair
with plastic; rinse out after 1 hour.

· BATH
SACHETS & BATH TEAS ·
|
|
Put
sprigs or leaves into muslin bags and tie under the faucet while
the bath is running, or throw them directly into the bath -
squeeze bag occasionally while bathing.
Try
this recipe with one or more of the following herbs:
calendula, chamomile, hops, lavender, lemon peel, lemon balm, lemon verbena, orange peel, patchouli, peppermint & spearmint.
Can also use ground oatmeal for a soothing bath.
Lemon
Joy: 2 parts Lemon Verbena, 1 part Lemongrass, 1 part rose, 1 part
lemon peel & 1 part Green Tea.
Soothing
Blend: 1 part Lavender, 2 parts Chamomile, 1 part Hops & 1
part Orange Peel.
Relaxation
Blend: 5 parts oats, 1 part Lavender & 1 part Rosemary.

· BATH
& MASSAGE OIL ·
|
|
Mix 10-15 drops essential oil
per each ounce of carrier oil. For the bath use 1-3 ounces, mixed
with bath water.
Choose
1 or a combination of the following carrier oils: almond, apricot kernel, avocado, grapeseed, hemp, jojoba, olive, safflower, sesame, sunflower or wheatgerm.
Try this recipe with one or a combination of
bergamot, chamomile, geranium, lavender, lemon, mandarin, neroli, patchouli, peppermint, rosemary, rosewood, sage, sandalwood,
sweet orange, ylang-ylang.
Concentration
Blend: 1 part Peppermint, 1 part Spearmint, 1 part Rosemary, 1
part Lavender & 1 part Lemon.
Sore
Tired Muscles: 1 part Lavender, 1 part Peppermint, 1 part
Eucalyptus & 1 part Rosemary.
Come
Hither: 1 part Neroli & 2 part Rose.
Desert
Jewel: 2 part Frankincense, 5 part Rosewood & 1 part
Ylang-Ylang.
Exotic
Blend: 4 part Patchouli, 2 part Geranium, 1 part Ylang-Ylang &
1 part Cinnamon Leaf.

· LIP
& BODY BALM ·
|
|
Mix 4 Tablespoons Olive Oil, 4 Tablespoons Avocado Oil, 3/4 Teaspoon Vitamin E Oil, 1/2 Ounce Beeswax, 1/2 Tsp. Essential Oil, this recipe makes approximately 6 Ounces Next combine all ingredients except for the essential oil and heat until completely melted, being careful not to overheat, as this may damage the healing properties of the oils, add essential oil and pour into containers. Let set up until solid. Try essential oils such as, Cinnamon, Orange, Peppermint, Spearmint, Tangerine, Wintergreen, and Vanilla.
